Rules to assure the best outcome of media use

Rules

1. Read the facts, discard the editorials

Virtually all media is biased.

2. Read a wide variety of media.

Bias by omission. The media involved can selectively print news or facts.

3. If something looks unbelievable think about it. I have seen critics being harsh on movies because the owner of the media did not like the producer of the movie or the movie refused to give a plum deal to the media.

4. Most media is entertainment. It is cheaper to produce a talking heads show than a show with actors.
